All day today l’m hearing about cops setting fire to a house and burning alive someone without due process. This aint the first time it’s happened. This is just history repeating itself. lt happened in May 13, 1985 in Philadelphia to members of the MOVE group. MOVE were black “radicals” who wanted to live off the grid. The government wasn’t having that shit so they tried to evict them. They kept arresting them and beating them. lt all culminated in the cops trying to raid their house in West Philly, and MOVE protecting itself. They BOMBED the house by helicopter. Flames filled the house. The women and children who were hiding in the basement tried to leave out of the cellar door. Racist cops were staked out at the door and shot at the door whenever they tried to escape the fire. FlVE BLACK CHlLDREN were burnt alive. Police found them huddled and charred together in the basement.  11 total people died in the bombing. The entire city block burned down.

The mayor who gave the order was a black man named Wilson Goode. Realistically, he was a puppet to then Police Chief, Frank Rizzo, who was a notorious racist. No one has ever been charged with the bombing or killings of the 6 adults and 5 children who died that day.
